We are open for business in our two canvas lodges, The Mottistone & The Osborne. We have ordered our next two The Headington & The Tennyson which will give us four fabulous lodges for the full season in 2018. All four can be booked together, individually or as a pair. We have two in our lower field and the other two will be in our top meadow - all with fantastic views of the river and countryside and with plenty of space in-between each lodge…this is Glamping The Wight Way…
We use our two incredibly efficient solar panels to provide a fixed point power light in each room plus 4 USB charging points. Our fridge & hob are gas powered, our water is heated by a wood burner with cooking and heating on the other wood burning stove. All of the wood, briquettes and lump wood charcoal that we supply are from the Island. We supply a variety of wind-up torches. We are a vehicle free site.
My lovely friend Annie has been working hard for weeks making our beautiful blinds. Annie carefully sourced textured and complimentary fabrics & a lovely tweed type linen ribbon. Just when she thought it was all finished, we have gone and ordered our next two tents for next season. Twenty Two more blinds please Annie……
